Eichstaedt met with pirates both in and out of prisons, talked with them about their lives, tactives, and motives, and came face-to-face with a former fighter with Somalia’s brutal Islamic al-Shabaab militia. He discovers that piracy is a symptom of a much deeper problem: Somalia itself.
Peter Eichstaedt is a veteran journalist and author dedicated to revealing the stories behind human rights abuses. Eichstaedt has traveled extensively in Africa to cover war crimes and trials. He most recently served as Country Director for IWPR-Afghanistan (Institute for War and Peace Reporting).

I know that it is a standard throughout the Security Forces career field to wear your beret with the flash showing from the cargo. however today i was stopped at walmart, after work and told to hide my beret because it was against the AFI.
The reason i ask is because my LT, Major, and SFG/CC all wear it like that.
It is actually banned as per AFI 36-2903. NO part of your head cover should show while in your cargo pocket. Just because those that outrank you are doing something, that does not mean it is the right thing.
Beginning early this year, google made some changes to their search ranking, the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, on official google blog it is estimated 11.8% search results will be affected by this update, in plain English, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. The update was initiated more than a year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, the good thing is that those keywords promoted by content rich links are not affected, a few of these keywords ranked better than ever, it’s safe to say that old way of link building is doomed.
What is old way of link building any way? There are a lot of SEO company out there are doing this, they put your links on websites which only exist for holding links, the only updates on those websites are the new links, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, we call these sites link spamming sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers, all the links on those websites will have the same fate.
Maybe a few examples will make it clear. It was quite some time ago, I needed to rank the keyword, Trucking Accessories, of course with old way of link building, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Here is another keyword, chain pullers, we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, with very few plain links, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. Now contextual links win the battle, then what? Actually this is all about content, when you create unique and quality content, you will attract readers as well as search engines. You probably think there are already too many blogs out there, it’s not true, there will never be too many good blogs, take a look at this blog, baby strollers , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, and to my surprise, I have high ranks for some of competitive keywords. As we can see, quality article marketing is much better than plain link building. If you can build a group of your own blogs, such as Ratchet Chain Binders, then it will be easier to do article marketing.
Bottom line is that you should create great content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, in the mean time advertise your business with your content, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Whatever you do, you will need persistence and patience, nothing will automatically improve overnight, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, keep writing, publishing, sharing and creating, you will see the day of success.
